Membership


The 2024-2025 membership year of the Salt Lake City Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC)
begins on July 1, 2024, and ends on June 30, 2025


Membership Benefits:

    Member - Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments

    Membership includes attendance at six luncheon meetings held September, October, November, January, February, and March on issues of topical interest at no cost providing a unique opportunity to meet with other pension and benefit professionals at each luncheon, discounted pricing to our annual half-day Spring Seminar, and discounted pricing to the annual Western Benefits Conference.

      Membership Guidelines:

      The Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) believes that pension and benefits professionals have a duty to maintain a high level of technical competence and integrity. To this end, a member of WP&BC should embody these traits:

      • Act with integrity, competence, dignity and in an ethical manner when dealing with the public, clients, prospects, employers, employees and fellow members.
      • Practice and encourage others to practice in a professional and ethical manner that will reflect well on members and the pension and benefits profession in general.
      • Strive to maintain and improve their competence and the competence of others in the profession.
      • Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgment.
