GBS Retire is hosting a panel discussion about plan administration failures. We will discuss how our teams uncovered the plan errors and how we responded to those plan errors to help our clients navigate corrections.

Our Panelists

Sue Hardy, Supervisor, Retirement Department, NBS
Sue Hardy is graduate from the University of Utah and has been working in the retirement industry for 20 years. She has been with NBS for the last 10 years specializing in training on unique plan issues. She has attained her Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent, Qualified 401(k) Administrator, Accredited Pension Administrator and Accredited Pension Representative designations. In her personal life, she enjoys teaching music lessons and traveling

Taylor Dance, Managing Director, GBS Retire
Taylor is the Managing Director of GBS Retire, a leading Retirement Plan Advisory Practice. With over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, he specializes in retirement plan management. Working closely with plan sponsors and individuals, he strives to help clients pursue their goals and bring their financial plans full circle. As a third generation wealth advisor, he grew up in the world of investments and has a lifelong passion for finance.  He is a Professional Plan Consultant™, Certified Health Savings Adviser, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Utah State University. In 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 he was named as one of the Top Plan Advisors Under 40 in the country.  Taylor was born & raised in Utah and married his high school sweetheart Kaitlin in 2008. Together they have two sons, Boston and Beckham and a daughter Audrey. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, golf, movies, and spending time with family.  

Diane Nesbit, Partner, Larson & Company
Diane has over 21 years of experience in public accounting and has been with Larson & Company since 2000. Diane specializes in working with employee benefit plans, traditional and captive insurance companies, and nonprofit organizations. Diane’s expertise includes all accounting and auditing standards and regulations as specified by the AICPA, ERISA, DOL, and FASB. Diane is currently serving as President-Elect for the Salt Lake City Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Counsel (WP&BC) and also serving as the Co-Chair of the Utah Chapter of the We Inspire Promote Network (WIPN). Diane loves spending time with her family, reading and traveling.

Parking: There is a small parking lot to the south of our building , and a parking structure to the west. The parking structure can be accessed from Main Street via an access road on the south side of the building. You may park in any available space, except for those marked "Reserved for PDQ." Once onsite, you will find the main entrance on the west side of the building, just east of the parking structure. Please take the elevator to the 6th floor.

Members are free. Non-members are welcome, and the $40.00 fee can be paid online with a credit card or by mailing a check. Please RSVP by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
