Diane has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and has been with Larson & Company since 2000. Diane specializes in working with employee benefit plans, traditional and captive insurance companies, and not-for-profit organizations.
Diane’s expertise includes all accounting and auditing standards and regulations as specified by the AICPA, ERISA, DOL, and FASB. Diane prides herself on the success of the clients she serves and always strives to ensure that their regulatory filing needs are met on time and within budget.

Grant Halvorsen, CPC, QPA, QKA, CPFA
Grant is a retirement plan consultant with HUB International. He helps plan sponsors manage the operation and investments of their retirement plans. He has been working with qualified retirement plans for nearly 15 years.
John Walch - Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar
John Walch focuses on all aspects of qualified and non-qualified benefit plans, including equity-based incentive and compensation plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, qualified profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans, ESOPs, pension and welfare benefit plans.
For over 30 years, John has designed, drafted and obtained IRS approval of hundreds of qualified retirement plans. For plans facing disqualification, he has obtained compliance statements from the IRS's Voluntary Compliance Program and negotiated positive resolutions to audit or determination letter issues. He also advises plan fiduciaries on operational issues involving QDROs, plan investment policies and fiduciary liability issues.
John also has extensive experience obtaining individual prohibited transaction exemptions from the U.S. Department of Labor, defending IRS audits or DOL investigations of benefit plans and litigating ERISA cases.
John also works with employers to design deferred compensation, stock option, stock appreciation right, phantom stock and other incentive plans. He advises businesses on issues related to parachute payments, COBRA, HIPAA and other benefit plan issues.
Lori Reay, CPA, CPC, DWC
Lori has nearly 20 years of experience working in the retirement plan industry. She works closely with financial advisors and clients to design and implement plans that meet their goals and objectives.
Lori is a former recipient of the American Institute of CPAS Women to Watch Emerging Leaders Award. She is currently a governing board member of the Salt Lake Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council, ad hoc committee member for the ASPPA Retirement Plan Academy, and has served on the Retirement Plan Fundamentals Certificate Taskforce. She is a former member of the Utah Valley University Alumni Board, including a one-year term as the Vice President of Finance and Development, and a former member of the Utah Valley University Gift Planning Advisory Board.
