Sam has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Southern Utah University and a Master’s Degree in Operations Research & Management Science from the Colorado School of Mines. He has taught principles of behavioral economics and positive psychology to a number of distinct groups including financial firms, manufacturing companies, and universities. He has also given the keynote address for several conferences and commencement ceremonies. 

Sam currently lives in the Salt Lake are with his family, a dog, and a cat (the latter two being available for adoption to any interested party).
