What You Missed During Your Summer Vacation
 
It was a busy summer for the IRS and DOL. During the summer vacation months, the agencies released new guidance on a variety of topics including the determination letter program, rollovers, 409(A), the final fiduciary rule and certain ERISA penalties. The IRS and DOL also teamed up with the PGBC to propose revisions to the Form 5500 annual reporting that could turn into a significant overhaul of the 5500 reporting requirements. Join us for a discussion of these developments.
 
About Our Presenter
Rebecca Oldroyd is an attorney with 8 years of benefits experience.  She is currently Senior Counsel with Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators and focuses her practice on the administration of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans. Before returning home to Utah she worked with the Employee Benefits Group at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and in the Fiduciary Practice Group at Groom Law Group in Washington DC.
